Cindy Murray, PT graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Health Education in 1990, and then received her BS in Physical Therapy in 1992 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She will graduate in December of 2020 with an MBA with Health Care Administration emphasis from Texas A&M University.
Cindy currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for OrthoTexas Physicians and Surgeons. After practicing for 26 years, she exited the clinic in 2018 to focus strictly on the administrative side of orthopedics

Renee Duncan
OrthoTennessee
Renee Duncan is the Director of Therapy and MRI services at Ortho Tennessee where she has been employed just under 20 years. She earned a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee, Memphis and MBA from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Responsibilities and roles have included BPCI operational leadership, compliance leadership, value based programming, and ancillary performance. Currently, Renee serves as the Ortho Forum Advocacy Therapy Subcommittee Chair.

Eric Chapman, PT, MHA, Cert. MDT, CKTP

Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy at West Virginia University. He continued his education at Ohio University where he received a master’s degree in health care administration
He’s certified in McKenzie Spinal Treatment/Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine from the McKenzie Institute. He is the Director of Rehabilitation and Advanced Practice Providers.

Joseph Mathews
Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine
Joseph Mathews has been the Administrator at Advanced Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (AOSM) in Northwest Houston, since 2010. He serves on the Board at Texas Orthopaedic Association (TOA) and the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) with focus on Advocacy. He has been part of the AAOE Advocacy Council for several years and served a few years on the Planning Committee for the AAOE Annual Conference. He is the Secretary of the Texas Orthopaedic Administrators Society (T-Bones) and manages their current website.
Joseph has recently worked to improve the coordination of Advocacy efforts between the AAOE, OrthoForum, TOA, T-Bones. He has testified on Capitol Hill in Austin, against unrestricted Physical Therapy Direct Access, in Capitol Hill in Missouri against restrictions of Physician Ownership of Physical Therapy in addition to meeting with AARP officials in Washington, DC to educate AARP Advocacy on the importance of allowing Therapy ancillaries to be provided in Physician offices.
His passion for the fields of Physical Therapy and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Advocacy has resulted in his belief that the coordination of care team concept with the physician at the helm is the best model for patient care.

Karen Simonton
The OrthoForum
Karen is a certified CPA since 1991, and she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lynchburg College. For 13 years, Karen served as Chief Administrative Officer for OrthoVirginia-West. In 2016, Karen then served as Advocacy Chair for OrthoVirginia-State where she held responsibility for representing OrthoVirginia at the federal, state and local level regarding issues that impact the ability to deliver a vertically integrated, quality based, cost effective service to patients. Karen then served as CFO for OrthoVirginia from 2018-2019, and she currently serves as the Strategic Alliance Director for The OrthoForum.

Christy Sorbe, MPT
Tucson Orthopaedic Institute
Christy has been with Tucson Orthopaedic Institute for 2 years and a PT for 20 years. She enjoys the orthopaedic field and working with patients as well as staff in a management role as Rehab Director. She oversees 6 clinics in the Tucson, AZ area and is excited to be a part of the OrthoForum committee. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 kids as well as running and any outdoor activities.

Jessica Swanson, MS PT, OCS
McBride Clinic
Jessica has been a PT for the last 20 years, working solely in orthopedic rehab the entire time. She has held both clinical care and administrative roles, including managing 20 clinics across 5 states in her prior role. She has been an Orthopedic Certified Specialist since 2006 and she serves as Director of Therapy for McBride Orthopedic Hospital and Outpatient Clinics, the largest orthopedic group in Oklahoma. Jessica enjoys cooking, reading and spending time outdoors being active with her husband and 2 children.

David Erber, PT
Integrity Rehab Group
David has been a PT for the last 25 years, working in both clinical care and administrative roles, and has held multiple positions across varying levels of orthopaedic rehab. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Integrity Rehab Group where he oversees operations for more than 100 physician practice based therapy clinics across the country.

Stephen Huntsman, PT
Integrity Rehab Group
Stephen is a licensed physical therapist with 27 years of experience including over 20 years in physician-based settings. He currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Clinical Services for Integrity Rehab Group where he is responsible for oversight of the organization’s compliance program, developing clinical outcome and operational reporting tools, and creating educational and training resources related to regulatory initiatives. He is a member of the APTA Section on Health Policy LAMP Management Committee and also serves on the Advisory Board for the DPT program at Western Kentucky University.
