The OrthoForum is pleased to share news from two member organizations, Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance (NOA) and South Shore Orthopedics, as they join forces to expand access to high-quality musculoskeletal (MSK) care throughout Massachusetts.
Effective June 1, 2026, South Shore Orthopedics became the sixth division of Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance, strengthening NOA’s position as the leading provider of orthopaedic and MSK care across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Based in Hingham, Massachusetts, South Shore Orthopedics brings 13 physicians, 13 advanced practice providers, and two locations serving Boston’s South Shore. With the addition, NOA now includes 120 physicians, 108 advanced practice providers, and 26 physical and occupational therapists across 22 locations throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to physician-led care, clinical excellence, operational excellence, and expanding patient access to comprehensive MSK services. South Shore Orthopedics will continue operating under its established name while benefiting from NOA’s shared infrastructure, clinical programs, and strategic resources.
The collaboration highlights how physician-owned, physician-led practices can work together to enhance patient care, improve operational efficiencies, and preserve physician leadership while continuing to serve their local communities.
